❓ HOW PSI QAS WORKS

PSI QAS analyzes police report narratives against Arizona statutes, case law standards, and documentation best practices. It does not store narrative text — only anonymous quality scores and flags are logged.

🚀 Getting Started

Paste your narrative into the Report Input panel on the left.
Select General Report or DUI Report depending on the report type.
Click Analyze Report. Confirm the report number when prompted, then wait for results.

🔍 Analysis Sections

Search & Seizure — checks warrant exceptions and constitutional articulation against ARS Title 13/28 and Arizona/federal case law.
Crimes Charged — verifies each charged offense against its statutory elements.
Grammar — flags spelling errors only. Does not penalize style or word choice.
Documentation & Clarity — checks for missing documentation, procedural gaps, and identification procedure compliance.

🚦 Severity Indicators

● ERROR Suppression risk or missing legally required documentation.
● WARNING Best-practice gap that weakens the report but is not legally fatal.
● GOOD Element is present and correctly documented.

📊 Score

The overall score (0–100) reflects documentation completeness and articulation quality. It is a training tool — it does not determine prosecutorial outcome.

👁 Supervisor Mode

Toggle SUPV in the header when reviewing a report submitted by another officer. Supervisor-mode sessions are logged separately from your personal stats on the Dashboard.

👁 FTO Mode

Toggle FTO in the header when reviewing a trainee's report as a Field Training Officer. FTO-mode sessions are logged separately from your personal stats on the Dashboard.

🔗 Supplemental Reports

When the report number prompt appears, check This is a supplemental report and label the supplement. This links the session to the parent report number for multi-supplement tracking.
